Winters brings over 15 years of experience in operations and client success, with a strong focus on the legal technology and services sectors.

Before joining 4L, Winters held the position of Chief Client Officer at SurePoint Technologies, where he led strategic initiatives to enhance client relationships and drive operational improvements. His career trajectory includes roles that demonstrate his proficiency in both accounting and technology-driven solutions for the legal industry.

In his new role at 4L Managed Accounting, Winters is poised to support the company’s rapid growth and help streamline its operations. His deep expertise in legal accounting and technology positions him perfectly to lead the company into its next phase of expansion.

4L’s Role in Transforming Legal Accounting Services

4L Managed Accounting offers tailored accounting department solutions to mid-size law firms, providing them with the support they need to optimize their accounting functions. Currently, 4L serves as the complete accounting department or a significant part of the accounting functions for 108 law firms, covering 1,619 lawyers.

In 2024, 4L processed 235,000 client invoices, totaling $795 million, managed payrolls amounting to $162 million, and handled more than 320,000 accounts payable and trust transactions worth $814 million. The company also managed numerous monthly bank reconciliations, demonstrating its extensive impact on the legal industry’s accounting landscape.
