  • The festival will feature food, music, culture, and comedy, highlighting Nigeria’s culinary and cultural heritage.
  • Objectives include boosting tourism, hospitality skills, youth empowerment, and positioning Nigeria as a global gastronomy hub.
  • Minister Hannatu Musawa emphasized the role of gastronomy in economic growth and youth development, likening it to Nigeria’s thriving film and music sectors.
  • President Bola Tinubu is expected to officially launch the festival and record attempt.
  • The current record is 3,189.93 meters, set in Cairo, Egypt, in 2019. Nigeria’s 3.6 km table would surpass it.
