
Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has announced a major restructuring exercise as part of its corporate transformation strategy, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and delivering improved services to its customers.
In a statement, AEDC said the initiative aligns with its strategic goal to become a more agile, innovative, and customer-focused organization.
As part of the transformation, the company promoted high-performing staff while releasing retiring employees and those whose performance fell below expectations.
The statement also highlighted the implementation of a comprehensive employee development and customer management plan designed to strengthen AEDC’s customer-centric approach.
“AEDC remains committed to providing reliable, safe, and sustainable electricity to all its customers, while supporting the continued growth and development of Nigeria’s energy sector,” the company said.
