The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Iseyin campus, has suspended academic activities for two weeks following the tragic death of a 200-level Agricultural Economics student fatally injured by a hit-and-run driver in Iseyin town.

The incident sparked student protests in the town. The Registrar, Mrs. Olayinka Balogun, expressed condolences and announced that students in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Renewable Natural Resources will resume classes on Monday, 24th November 2025.
