Anambra 2025: Partial Compliance with Election Day Vehicular Movement

On Saturday, Anambra State police reported partial compliance with restrictions on vehicular movement during the election period. By 7:20 a.m., over 30 commercial and private vehicles were seen traveling along the Awka–Amawbia–Enugwu-Ukwu axis, while security vehicles moved to their posts.

Some traders, like Mrs. Theresa Chinweuko, sold food to voters, and police at Abagana checkpoint stopped vehicles unable to justify their movement. INEC officials were on-site at St. Michael Church, Nawfia ward 2, preparing polling arrangements.
