Nollywood actress Uche Montana has denied reports linking her to the alleged drug-related issues involving actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Montana, in a statement shared on her Instagram page on Monday, addressed the accusations days after Nwoko publicly named her and actress Sonia Uche as individuals allegedly undermining Regina’s rehabilitation process. Nwoko had claimed that these individuals ignored doctors’ directives and allegedly brought Daniels “the same drugs she was being treated for.”
Responding to the allegations, Montana said:
“My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims. For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”
The statement comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding Regina Daniels’ marriage. Two weeks ago, Daniels had claimed in a viral video that she experienced domestic abuse, describing herself as a “slave” in her husband’s home. Nwoko, however, dismissed her allegations, insisting that she was struggling with drug and alcohol addiction and accusing her of physically assaulting domestic workers.
