Bodies of Terrorists Float in River as Boko Haram Kills 200 ISWAP Fighters [VIDEO]

A deadly supremacy battle between Boko Haram insurgents and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters in northern Nigeria has reportedly claimed about 200 lives of ISWAP fighters. Four Boko Haram insurgents were also killed in the clash.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the development on X (formerly Twitter), sharing video footage showing lifeless bodies of the terrorists floating in a river.

“More bodies of ISWAP found after a deadly clash that resulted in the killing of 200 fighters by Boko Haram,” Makama wrote.

The deadly confrontation reportedly occurred on the shores of Lake Chad near Dogon Chiku in the Northeast on Sunday.

Since ISWAP splintered from Boko Haram in 2016, both factions have repeatedly clashed, intensifying the ongoing security challenges in the Northeast region. The area continues to be plagued by violent activities from these armed groups.
