Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, recently discharged from Breach Candy Hospital, continues his recovery at home. The 89-year-old superstar, known for classics like Sholay and Chupke Chupke, has built both an iconic career and a sprawling family. With two marriages and six children, the Deols remain one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated dynasties.

First Marriage: Prakash Kaur

Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954, long before his Bollywood debut. They had four children: Sunny, Bobby, Vijeta, and Ajeeta.

  • Sunny Deol: Eldest son and action star of hits like GhayalBorder, and Gadar. Married to Lynda “Pooja” Deol, they have two sons, Karan and Rajveer, who are entering the film industry.
  • Bobby Deol: Actor known for GuptSoldier, and Humraaz, with a comeback via Animal and the web series Aashram. Married to Tanya Ahuja Deol, they have two sons, Aryaman and Dharam.

  • Esha Deol: Bollywood actress who debuted in 2002 with films like Dhoom and Yuva. Married businessman Bharat Takhtani in 2012; they have two daughters, Radhya and Miraya. The couple divorced in early 2024.
  • Ahana Deol: Married to Delhi-based businessman Vaibhav Vohra. The couple has three children (twin daughters and a son). Ahana is a trained classical dancer and maintains a low profile.
