Samuel Akingboye, eldest son of former Ondo State governorship candidate Otunba Bamidele Akingboye (OBA), has accused the Lagos State Police Command of concealing his father’s autopsy report.
Samuel claimed that the Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, shared the autopsy results with his stepmother but not with him, despite him being the complainant. He alleged this as an attempt to “dilute or divert” the ongoing investigation.
He stated that CCTV footage suggests his father’s death may have been murder, and expressed concern that his stepmother and her children have started selling his father’s properties amid the unresolved case.
Samuel appealed to the Inspector General of Police, Ondo State Governor, and the public for intervention, describing the situation as emotionally, financially, and psychologically taxing. He also reported receiving death threats over his pursuit of justice.
He urged authorities to release the autopsy report transparently and prevent any interference with his father’s assets during the investigation.
