Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, has shared candid insights into his dating life, describing it as chaotic.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Reprezent podcast, the singer revealed that the messy dating scene in Lagos inspired his hit song “Ashawo.”

“In my song ‘Ashawo,’ I was trying to paint a picture of what the dating scene is like in Lagos where I live. It’s a mess,” he explained.

On his personal experiences with relationships, Fireboy added:

“It is chaotic. But I thrive with girls. When I’m under pressure, I usually find balance in girls.”

The singer has previously stated that he looks forward to experiencing heartbreak, viewing it as a source of inspiration for creating more authentic music.

Fireboy has yet to publicly confirm being in a relationship or having a girlfriend.
