BAT Ideological Group Urges Urgent Resolution of Rigasa Community Power Crisis

The BAT Ideological Group, led by Comrade Bamidele Atoyebi, has called for an immediate solution to the persistent power distribution challenges in Rigasa community, Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State.

The appeal was made during the group’s courtesy visit to Engr. Jennifer Adighije, Managing Director of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), at the company’s headquarters in Abuja. The delegation included the group’s patron, Alhaji Tejumade Onirin, an ally of President Bola Tinubu, and Kwara State Coordinator Comrade Seun Ogunniyi Adato.

Atoyebi explained that the visit aligns with the group’s ongoing efforts to advance community development and foster peaceful reconciliation among stakeholders. “This initiative reflects our commitment to the ideals of President Tinubu, which focus on adding value to lives and supporting national development,” he said, emphasizing the group’s mission to bridge divides, resolve conflicts, and support government efforts.

Engr. Adighije welcomed the delegation, assuring them that the Rigasa power issue would be addressed with urgency and dedication. She commended the proactive engagement and formally received a letter of induction as an ally of the BAT Ideological Group.

The delegation, which included 40 women representatives from Kaduna State, also expressed appreciation for NDPHC’s hospitality and commitment to community needs. Comrade Atoyebi described the meeting as fruitful and reaffirmed the group’s determination to advance initiatives in line with President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” vision.
