Brosnan concluded the heartfelt tribute by saying, “[We] wish him well in every way possible.”
George Clooney’s Broadway Debut: Good Night, and Good Luck
George Clooney’s Broadway debut marks a full-circle moment for the acclaimed actor and filmmaker. Starring as legendary journalist Edward R. Murrow in the stage adaptation of Good Night, and Good Luck, Clooney brings new life to the 2005 film he co-wrote and directed.

Their original screenplay for Good Night, and Good Luck earned an Oscar nomination in 2006, as did Clooney’s direction and the film itself for Best Picture. That same year, he took home the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Syriana.
