Billie Eilish Calls Out Elon Musk as He Prepares to Become World’s First Trillionaire

Billie Eilish is speaking out as Elon Musk edges closer to becoming the world’s first trillionaire. In a series of Instagram Stories on November 13, 2025, the Grammy-winning singer criticized the Tesla and SpaceX CEO, calling him a “f—ing pathetic p—- bitch coward” while urging him to consider global philanthropy.

The posts came after Eilish re-shared an Instagram carousel from My Voice, My Choice, which detailed how Musk could use his wealth to tackle major humanitarian and environmental issues.

Eilish Suggests Philanthropic Uses for Musk’s Wealth

Eilish highlighted a series of ways Musk, 54, could allocate his fortune to improve lives worldwide:

  • End world hunger: She noted that Musk could spend $40 billion annually to eradicate global hunger by 2030.
  • Provide universal clean water: $140 billion over the next seven years could ensure safe drinking water worldwide.
  • Protect endangered species: Eilish suggested $1–$2 billion annually could reduce over 10,000 critically endangered species to endangered status.
  • Rebuild conflict zones: Musk could contribute $53.2 billion to rebuild Gaza and the occupied West Bank, and even assist with reconstruction efforts in Ukraine and Syria, totaling nearly $800 billion.

“If he wanted to spread the wealth, he could make a significant impact globally,” Eilish wrote alongside the post.

Musk’s Trillionaire Status Hinges on Performance Goals

Tesla shareholders approved a compensation package on October 6 that could make Musk the world’s first trillionaire. However, he must achieve a series of ambitious goals to access the funds:

  • Raise Tesla’s market cap to $8.5 trillion by 2035
  • Sell 12 million vehicles per year
  • Deploy 1 million robotaxis and 1 million humanoid robots
  • Remain Tesla CEO for seven and a half years

The payout is tied to performance metrics, meaning Musk won’t automatically receive the $1 trillion+ package. He will still continue to run his other ventures, including SpaceX and the AI startup xAI.

Eilish Has a History of Calling Out Billionaires

This isn’t the first time Eilish has criticized the ultra-wealthy. On October 29, she used her Music Innovator Award acceptance speech at the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards to address billionaires, with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg among the audience.

Her latest post comes amid growing scrutiny of Musk’s political and corporate decisions, including controversies related to his involvement in the Department of Government Efficiency under former President Donald Trump and public protests over Tesla’s political stances.

Eilish’s message combines criticism with a call to action, challenging Musk to use his wealth for meaningful global change as he nears a historic milestone.
