Brittany Cartwright Hopes Divorce from Jax Taylor Is Finalized Next Month, Confirms He Won’t Appear on The Valley Season 3

Reality TV star Brittany Cartwright is opening up about the next chapter in her life following her separation from former Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor. During a cast panel for The Valley at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas on November 14, the 36-year-old reality personality provided fans with updates on her divorce and the upcoming season of the hit Bravo series.

Brittany Cartwright Prays for Divorce Finalization

Cartwright, who shares 4-year-old son Cruz with Taylor, revealed she is “praying” that her divorce will be finalized next month. Originally scheduled for October 15, the finalization of the divorce has been delayed, but Cartwright remains hopeful.

“Things are happening with Jax,” she told fans. “It was supposed to be Oct. 15, and it’s been pushed back. Fingers crossed.”

The Vanderpump Rules alum emphasized her desire to move forward, noting that sharing her experiences with Taylor and filing for divorce six months after their separation was intended to help others navigate toxic relationships.

“If I could help people learn how to get out of a toxic situation, that was really important to me,” she explained.

Jax Taylor Will Not Appear on The Valley Season 3

Cartwright also confirmed that her ex-husband will “absolutely not” appear on season 3 of The Valley, which was met with applause from the BravoCon audience. Fans can expect “a lot more funny moments this season” without Taylor’s involvement.

Taylor himself shared in July that he was stepping away from the show to focus on his sobriety, mental health, and co-parenting. He explained to Variety: “Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting relationship. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself — especially for our son, Cruz.”

Brittany Reflects on Moving On

During the panel, Cartwright also provided an update on her personal life beyond her divorce. She confirmed she is currently single, following a brief two-month relationship with Brandon Hanson, which she described as a “short-lived thing”. Cartwright was careful to note she was not a “homewrecker,” and Hanson was also separated at the time.

A source previously shared with PEOPLE that Cartwright and Hanson had “found comfort in each other” as both navigated their respective divorces and life transitions.

Looking Ahead

As Cartwright prepares for her new chapter as a single mother and reality TV star, she emphasized the importance of transparency with fans. By sharing her experiences publicly, she hopes to provide guidance for those facing relationship struggles, divorce, and co-parenting challenges.

BravoCon 2025 continues through Sunday, November 16, at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, offering fans an inside look at the latest updates from their favorite Bravo stars.
