Senator Samuel Anyanwu, the expelled National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has identified the PDP Governors’ Forum as the main cause of turmoil within the party.
Speaking on ‘Politics Today’ on Channels Television, Anyanwu said he would not take responsibility for the party’s troubles and attributed the instability to the governors.
“The truth of the matter is that I will hold the Governors’ Forum responsible for whatever is happening to the party today,” he said.
He added that founding members have left the party due to its current state and revealed that the governors had previously proposed that the amended constitution recognize the Governors’ Forum as an organ of the PDP.
