Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has stated that he has a video revealing the circumstances of the death of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad.

In a social media post, Fabiyi called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the matter. He alleged that the video was sent to him as part of an extortion attempt and that he had previously informed the president in May 2025 that Mohbad was “murdered.”

Fabiyi also said the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja had reviewed Mohbad’s case and identified key suspects. He claimed that there are now efforts to cover up the case and to intimidate him, with some suspects reportedly preparing petitions against him over alleged illegal arrests.
