The Acting Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), May Agbamuche-Mbu, on Tuesday held a meeting with the chairmen and secretaries of political parties at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

According to Channels TV, the meeting is part of a series of stakeholder engagements ahead of the Anambra governorship election slated for November.

While details of the discussions are yet to be disclosed, PUNCH Online gathered that the session was aimed at enabling INEC and political party representatives to address grey areas, refine logistical plans, and strengthen collaboration to ensure a credible and hitch-free electoral process.This marks the first meeting presided over by Agbamuche-Mbu since she took over on October 7.
