Nigerian Police Arrest Fugitive Suspect in Osun FRSC Officer Murder Case

The Nigeria Police Force has taken custody of Victor Benjamin Fejemirokun, who allegedly abducted and killed a Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer and her young daughter in Osun State.

  • The suspect fled Nigeria shortly after the crime.
  • He was arrested in Accra, Ghana, by the Ghana Police Service following intelligence about his location.
  • The handover involved a coordinated operation with INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB), Abuja.

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, expressed condolences to the victims’ family and assured that the investigation would be thorough, with the suspect arraigned once investigations conclude.

CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Force Public Relations Officer, commended the Ghanaian authorities for their professionalism and emphasized that no border will protect criminals from justice.
