Ten Ondo City–based creative brands have teamed up to recreate the vibrancy and nostalgia of the 1980s, delivering a visually striking project that celebrates African heritage, fashion, and artistic expression.

From Afro-inspired hairstyles to vintage outfits, muted photo tones, and carefully selected retro locations, the collaboration revives the bold, expressive spirit that defined the 80s across the continent.

The project features the creative contributions of Ejibunu Caroline (World Guinness Record Attempter), Mercy Ejibunu-Fadoju, Kuteyi Olusola Malcolm, Orisabunmi Olasegha, Frances O. Akinkuoye, Oyefeso Janet, Mofiyinfoluwa Oguntunsin, Fasuyi Oluwaremilekun Cyril, Peter Omikunle, and Olakanye Olanrewaju.

Together, these brands recreated the essence of 80s fashion and art, showcasing the richness of African creativity and what happens when tradition meets contemporary storytelling.

According to Caroline Ejibunu, this marks the first in a series of collaborations aimed at spotlighting the innovation and talent of young Nigerians driving top brands out of Ondo.
