Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has made his first public statement since the controversy surrounding his marriage to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru began trending online.

On Wednesday, the singer posted a brief message on his Instagram Story — now deleted — simply stating: “Help me.”

The post came hours after his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, expressed concern on Instagram, pairing his message with lyrics from one of 2Face’s songs. Hyacinth wrote:

“You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us to save you. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows.”

The drama reportedly began in the United Kingdom, where 2Face and Osawaru had a heated exchange that allegedly drew police attention and resulted in his brief arrest. The issue resurfaced during an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where the couple argued openly on camera.

These incidents have sparked widespread speculation about a deepening crisis in the marriage, with fans expressing concern for the singer’s well-being.
