Nigerian music stars Wizkid and Asake have announced their highly anticipated collaboration, a joint EP titled “REAL (Vol. 1)”, scheduled for release this December.

The duo gave fans a taste of the project by previewing a snippet of the track “Jogodo” during an appearance on Apple Music 1 with DJ Tunez.

Asake shared that their partnership goes beyond music, describing their connection as “real” and deeply rooted.

This collaboration builds on their previous work, as Asake featured Wizkid on the hit track “MMS” from his 2024 album “Lungu Boy.”

The upcoming EP is expected to highlight both artists’ distinctive sounds, blending Wizkid’s smooth Afropop vibes with Asake’s high-energy, choir-infused style, promising a project that fans have been eagerly awaiting.
