Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ajemba Stanley (Stanley Ontop) has alleged that the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) presidential election held on December 6, 2025, in Edo State, was hijacked.

Stanley expressed disappointment over the defeat of Rita Daniels, mother of actress Regina Daniels, who lost to Abubakar Yakubu, the AGN National Secretary.

On Instagram, Stanley claimed the election process was unfair and suggested the influence of a powerful individual in Abuja affected the outcome. He stated that delegates prioritized personal gain over the integrity of the association, asserting that Rita Daniels would have defeated Yakubu without external interference.
