A Lagos-based youth advocate, Opeyemi Ahmed, has praised the senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, for his commitment to improving the living standards of constituents across the district.

In a statement, Ahmed described Senator Abiru as a visionary leader whose governance style has significantly transformed the developmental landscape of Lagos East. He noted that the senator’s impact is evident in the numerous projects executed within the senatorial district.

Ahmed particularly applauded Abiru’s adoption of digital innovation as a strategic tool for empowering constituents and promoting inclusive development. He also highlighted the senator’s empowerment initiatives, which include the establishment of 48 cooperative societies and the disbursement of N480 million in grants to support small businesses and grassroots economic growth.

Commending the lawmaker’s achievements, Ahmed listed the construction of mini-hospitals, school facilities, road infrastructure, and mini-stadia as key projects that have contributed to community development and youth engagement.

According to Ahmed, Senator Abiru’s interventions continue to set a benchmark for effective representation and people-centered leadership in Lagos State.
