Popular social media activist Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has waded into the controversy surrounding Nollywood actress Doris Ogala and Pastor Chris Okafor, issuing a strong public warning over her reported arrest.
In a video shared online, VDM claimed he had a phone conversation with Doris Ogala shortly before her arrest, stating that he sensed danger and felt compelled to reach out to her.
According to VDM, he warned the actress during the call, advising her to be cautious and transparent about the issues she had been speaking on publicly.
“There are some things that you should not do, and when you do those things and come out to confess, you need to confess fully, 100 percent fully,” he said.
VDM explained that his concern was driven by what he described as a strong premonition that something bad was about to happen to the actress.
During the alleged conversation, Doris Ogala reportedly defended her actions and insisted she had evidence to support her claims against Pastor Chris Okafor. She also expressed fear for her safety, telling VDM, “I don’t know what will happen to me tomorrow.”
The activist further claimed that Ogala promised to send him all the materials and documents she had, which he says she later did.
In a follow-up video, VDM alleged that those responsible for her arrest might be attempting to tamper with or destroy evidence stored on her phone. He described the situation as suspicious and deeply concerning.
Issuing a direct warning, VDM stated that if Doris Ogala is not released by Tuesday, he would make all the evidence she sent him public.
“My spirit kept telling me to call Doris Ogala. After I spoke to her, she sent me all the evidence she had. I’m warning Pastor Chris Okafor and Jeremiah: if Doris Ogala does not return home by Tuesday, every piece of evidence she sent me will be released on social media,” he said.
Reports claim that Doris Ogala was arrested on Saturday evening during a live broadcast, which was abruptly cut short when security operatives arrived at her residence. During the livestream, the interviewer was heard asking if the police were present, to which Ogala reportedly responded affirmatively.
As of the time of this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the allegations made by VeryDarkMan.
The incident has continued to generate intense reactions online, with many Nigerians closely following developments surrounding the case.
