Former Alpha-Beta Employee Alleges Bribery, Intimidation, and Corruption at Tinubu-Linked Lagos Revenue Firm

Segun Oluwasanmi, a former employee of Alpha-Beta Consulting Limited, has accused the company of soliciting bribes, workplace harassment, and financial misconduct, implicating the firm’s Head of Human Capital Management, Mrs. Anjola Ige-Amusan.

Alpha-Beta Consulting, reportedly owned by President Bola Tinubu, assists Lagos State in revenue collection. Oluwasanmi alleges that in March 2024, Ige-Amusan demanded and collected a N150,000 bribe from colleague Kingsley Esonu to process a refund of N3,310,912 in travel allowances for staff who attended an international training program in Egypt. The allowances were allegedly miscalculated due to currency exchange discrepancies and improper estacode calculations.

Oluwasanmi also claims that efforts to report the bribery and harassment were met with obstruction and intimidation. Petitions filed to the Lagos Police Command, ICPC, and EFCC reportedly led to harassment by the State Intelligence Department, including an incident in which a couple delivering the complaint were allegedly mistreated.

Further, Oluwasanmi alleges manipulation of police processes, being drawn into unrelated cases intended to silence him, following petitions filed by Alpha-Beta against other staff.

The allegations have been formally submitted through the Lagos chapter of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), backed by bank statements, WhatsApp records, and official correspondence. The petition calls for a full investigation into the conduct of Ige-Amusan and for offenders to be prosecuted under relevant anti-corruption laws, including the Criminal Code Act, ICPC Act 2000, and EFCC Act 2004.

The case highlights concerns of systemic corruption, bribery, and workplace harassment within Alpha-Beta Consulting, raising broader questions about accountability in firms linked to public office holders.
