In a statement, Portable announced a ₦500,000 reward for anyone who identifies and apprehends a lookalike caught performing his songs. He emphasized that while fans copying his hairstyle or fashion is fine, performing his music without permission is considered fraud.

Portable urged security agencies and fans alike to take action, stressing that his songs are officially released on streaming platforms and belong solely to him. He described the impersonator’s actions as deceptive, noting that they exploit his music for personal gain rather than promoting original work.

The singer made it clear that anyone caught in such acts should be handed over to authorities, and he promised to personally ensure that the cash reward is delivered.
