
Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has opened up about the emotional experience surrounding the premature birth of his daughter, Wonder, who arrived at just 26 weeks weighing a fragile 0.7kg. The actor described how his plans to carefully document his wife Tiwi’s pregnancy were unexpectedly altered, calling the experience a powerful lesson in faith, resilience, and divine intervention.
Kunle, known for his work in Anikulapo, revealed that as a filmmaker, he had intended to capture every moment of the pregnancy. “Before the birth of Wonder, I said I was going to document everything because I’m a filmmaker, but God laughed,” he said, acknowledging the unexpected twist life brought.
The couple had envisioned a serene, well-documented journey to parenthood, but reality introduced a challenging yet miraculous turn. Kunle’s account reflects the emotional strain, hope, and wonder that come with welcoming a premature baby and the faith required to navigate such moments.
