Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), shared a remarkable testimony of divine healing during his recent Holy Ghost Convention at Redemption Camp, Lagos. Preaching on the theme “Brand-New Beginning”, he emphasized God’s power to restore every aspect of life—physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

Illustrating divine restoration, Adeboye referenced Biblical examples such as Naaman the leper, who experienced complete healing through God’s intervention.

He also recounted a striking personal encounter during one of his international evangelical trips. According to the 83-year-old cleric, a woman persistently followed him to his hotel room, leaving him initially “perplexed.”

“I met a beautiful lady… I went to the lift. She pursued me to my hotel room. I said God,” Adeboye said.

Inside the room, he was confronted with a shocking sight: scars all over her body, the result of repeated abuse. Deeply moved, he prayed fervently for her, calling on God to remove every affliction that was not of divine origin.

“Scars as if somebody had been tortured again and again… I cried to the Almighty Lord, this is your daughter… something must be done today. I thanked God before she left the room. All these scars were gone,” he recounted.

Pastor Adeboye concluded by encouraging worshippers to trust in God’s power to erase afflictions completely and restore lives beyond human understanding.
