The Chairman of Ado Local Government Area in Benue State, Mr. Oche Sunday Oche, has stated that Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia’s return for a second term in 2027 is certain, citing the governor’s achievements and positive impact on the state.
Speaking in Akure, Ondo State, Oche described Alia as “God-sent” to Benue, highlighting the administration’s success in reducing insecurity and improving governance across key sectors. He emphasized that the governor’s performance in infrastructure, health care, and prompt payment of salaries has earned widespread public approval and encouraged defections from opposition parties to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Oche also praised the party leadership, including APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda and Benue State APC Chairman Mr. Benjamin Omale, for supporting Alia’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He commended grassroots mobilizers such as Dr. Livinus Tsar, Chief Moses Ternenge, and Rt. Hon. Solomon Wombo for rallying support for the governor’s 2027 ambition across all 23 local government areas.
The council chairman assured that his local government administration would continue delivering tangible results to reinforce support for Alia ahead of the 2027 elections.
