Actress Regina Daniels has threatened to sue her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, and others over accusations that she uses hard drugs. The warning came in a video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
In the video, Regina presented laboratory test results from a California hospital, showing she tested negative for all hard drugs. The results indicated that the only substance she had used was ecstasy, commonly referred to as molly.
Addressing the public, Daniels said:
“Hi everyone, it’s Regina Daniels. I don’t believe I will sit in front of this camera again trying to clear up an accusation that was sent to destroy me. It’s a new year, and with it came a moment of clarity. I realised that there are certain narratives I can no longer allow to linger over my name as a public figure. I also realised how many people love me, support me, and believe in me, and I will never let that loyalty be met with shame or doubt. Taking this test is not about clearing my name, it’s about giving a strong voice to those who believe in me, and above all, giving my children pride in their mother.”
She further emphasized:
“I was never on any hard drugs or any nonsense fabricated online. I will sue, I will definitely sue at the appropriate time. Honestly, the only drug I was associated with was ecstasy.”
The actress made the clarification nearly three months after Senator Nwoko publicly accused her of drug use. She had previously shared a video showing her undergoing the drug test in California.
