3 Arrested, 1 Suspect Still at Large After $200K Burglary at Shedeur Sanders’ Home

Three suspects have been arrested following the burglary of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders’ home in Granger Township, Ohio, but one suspect remains at large, according to the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.

The break-in occurred on November 16, 2025, while Sanders made his NFL debut against the Baltimore Ravens. The burglars reportedly stole $200,000 in property in just 12 minutes.


How the Burglary Happened

Police reports indicate that four masked and gloved suspects entered Sanders’ residence through an unlocked door at around 6:46 p.m. Surveillance footage captured the suspects as they moved through the home and exited at 6:58 p.m. with stolen items.

The sheriff’s office confirmed that three suspects have been arrested, and the driver of the getaway vehicle has also been positively identified. The fourth suspect is still at large with an active arrest warrant.


Sanders’ Reaction

Speaking to the media shortly after the incident, the 23-year-old quarterback said:

“None of my jewelry got took. So now it’s just caught slippin’. It happens… Mentally, emotionally, I’m in a great place overall.”

He added:

“In life, there’s always going to be adversity. Things aren’t always going to go as planned. I would say I’m prepared for everything.”


Context

The burglary took place while Sanders came on at the start of the second half, replacing Dillon Gabriel, who sustained a concussion. Despite the theft, Sanders’ focus remains on his NFL career, showing resilience in the face of adversity.
