BBNaija Season 7 winner Phyna has claimed that Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has distanced herself from her because of Phyna’s association with controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM).

During a livestream with her fans, Phyna explained that Iyabo Ojo—whom she affectionately calls “mama”—used to actively engage with her posts online, but that support has dwindled since Phyna began working with VDM. The activist had assisted her in seeking justice for her sister after the Dangote accident.

Phyna added that her connection with VDM has also strained other personal relationships and sparked online conflicts.

Her words:
“I feel mama doesn’t like me that much again… I’m very sure it’s because of that dirty boy. I even went as far as attacking Vee Iyele because of that dirty boy.”
