
FirstHoldCo Plc has named new board members across its non-commercial banking subsidiaries, following approvals from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM). The appointments aim to deepen governance, enhance oversight, and position the Group for sustainable growth.
At First Asset Management Limited, Ebikabo Williams was appointed Chairman, supported by board members Usman Dantata Jr., Binta Max Gbinije, and Alero Mobola Adollo. The team brings extensive expertise across banking, capital markets, and consulting, reinforcing the firm’s leadership in asset and wealth management.
FirstCap Limited has appointed Yewande Amusan as Chairman, with Ahmed Indimi, Irene Akpofure, Adenike Kuti, and Zeal Akaraiwe joining the board. Meanwhile, First Securities Brokers Limited, the NGX top performer in 2025 for trading volume and transaction value, named John Akpeki as Chairman, alongside Omolara Adeyemi, Susan Younis, and Kemi Andu-Alausa.
In trust and estate management, First Trustees Limited appointed John Lee as Chairman. He brings over 40 years of global financial services experience, joined by Abiola Alabi, Adebisi Sola-Adeyemi, and Ugochukwu Obi-Chukwu.
For its insurance subsidiary, First Insurance Brokers, celebrating its 25th anniversary, Akinola Phillips has been named Chairman, with Ije Onejeme, Folukemi Akinmeji, and Mojisola Cardozo completing the board.
