Lawmaker Reaffirms Commitment to Constituents with Aquaculture Training

Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, the federal lawmaker representing Oluyole Federal Constituency in Oyo State, has reaffirmed her dedication to the welfare and well-being of her constituents.

Speaking in Ibadan during an aquaculture training for over 200 residents, Akande-Sadipe emphasized that her priority is to serve her people in ways that provide tangible benefits. She noted that her efforts have already facilitated constituency projects aimed at poverty reduction and community empowerment.

The aquaculture training is designed to equip participants with skills to become self-reliant and generate income for a sustainable livelihood. The initiative was supported by facilitators from the Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR).

Highlighting her ongoing commitment, Akande-Sadipe distributed startup grants of N100,000 to each beneficiary, totaling N20 million, to help launch their aquaculture ventures. She also thanked her constituents for their support and promised to continue delivering programs that meet their needs.

Participants praised the lawmaker’s political maturity and foresight, noting the initiative’s impact on building self-reliance and economic empowerment in the constituency.
