Ologbodiyan: Wike’s Involvement in APC Government Will Lead to PDP’s Collapse

Kola Ologbodiyan, the former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has stated that Nyesom Wike’s involvement in the All Progressives Congress (APC) government has paved the way for the potential collapse of the PDP.

Ologbodiyan expressed concerns over efforts to diminish the PDP into a mere extension or faction of the APC. His remarks come amid the ongoing leadership crisis within the PDP.

While speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Tuesday, Ologbodiyan emphasized that any statements made by Debo Ologunagba, the current National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, represent the official stance of the party. He further clarified that Sunday Ude Okoye is the party’s constitutionally recognized leader, as affirmed by Ologunagba, unless stated otherwise.

Regarding external challenges from the APC, Ologbodiyan reiterated his belief that attempts to reduce the PDP to an arm of the APC are ongoing. He also highlighted that Wike’s participation in the APC’s governance is a key factor that could lead to the PDP’s downfall.
