Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant Share Sweet Skating Date at Rockefeller Center

NEW YORK, NY – Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend Alexandra Grant shared an adorable moment in front of New York City’s iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, skating hand-in-hand and sharing a kiss in a video Grant posted on Instagram Tuesday, Jan. 13.

“Last Monday, after the run of Waiting for Godot, Keanu invited me on a date in New York City,” wrote the 52-year-old visual artist, captioning a series of photos and a cinematic video.

In the clip, the couple wobbled on the ice while holding hands, clearly enjoying the festive ambiance. Grant thanked the skating community and staff at the rink for making the night special, noting the cheers, hot cocoa, and festive touches.

“Yes to trying something new, yes to doing it your way, and staying open to surprise!” Grant added, quoting figure skater Alysa Liu on the importance of human connection.

A Broadway Star and a Longtime Love

Reeves, 61, recently made his Broadway debut in a revival of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot alongside Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure co-star Alex Winter. The play closed on Jan. 4, just days before the skating date.

Reeves and Grant have been romantically linked since 2011, publicly revealing their relationship in 2019. They co-founded X Artists Books, a small publishing imprint, in 2017, and are often seen supporting each other’s artistic endeavors.

The couple has been selective about public appearances, though they’ve attended movie premieres and other high-profile events together, including Reeves’ June 2025 film From the World of John Wick: Ballerina.

Looking Ahead

Grant also used her post to cheer on the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, praising the dedication of young athletes. Reeves’ next film, Jonah Hill’s Outcome, stars Hill and Cameron Diaz.

The sweet Rockefeller Center outing showcases the couple’s playful side, capturing a warm, festive moment amid their busy schedules.
