“We Will Carry the Trophy” – Prophet MKO Tibetan’s AFCON Prediction Goes Viral

Prophet MKO Tibetan, also known as Marcus Tibetan, has faced criticism after predicting a 5–2 victory for Nigeria over Morocco in the AFCON semi-final, claiming the insight came through divine revelation.

In a pre-match interview, he confidently assured Nigerians that the Super Eagles would triumph despite tough opposition and controversial refereeing decisions. He warned of possible “gang-ups” among referees but insisted that Nigeria’s path to lifting the trophy was already decided.

Prophet MKO also predicted Senegal would defeat Egypt, setting up a final showdown between Nigeria and Senegal, where he firmly believed Nigeria would emerge champions.

However, the match defied his prophecy. After 120 minutes, neither Morocco nor Nigeria scored, and the game went straight to penalties. Morocco won the shootout 4–2, with the Moroccan goalkeeper saving key attempts from Samuel Chukwueze and Bruno Onyemaechi. Morocco now advances to face Senegal in the final, while Nigeria will play Egypt for third place.

Social media reactions have been critical, with many dismissing the prediction as “guesswork” and questioning the reliability of prophetic claims in sports.
