Renowned Nigerian gospel artist Frank Edwards has issued a cautionary message about stinginess and generosity.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the singer advised people to avoid being tight-fisted, noting that those who hoard their resources often feel compelled to give unsolicited advice to others about how to share.

“Don’t be the person who never parts with money unless it’s taken from you or you lose it,” Edwards wrote. “That is Harvard-level stinginess… and those kind of people will use advice finish you on how to give.”

His message highlights the importance of being open-handed and supportive, rather than allowing the opinions of stingy individuals to dictate one’s generosity.
