Regina Daniels’ close friend, Ann, has been released after spending two nights in detention, following theft allegations linked to Senator Ned Nwoko.
Ann regained her freedom on Wednesday evening after the court adjourned her case to March 5, 2026.
Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy, confirmed her release on Instagram. He had previously raised concerns about Ann being taken to court without access to legal counsel or family.
“Similar techniques. Not letting legal representatives or family know her whereabouts. Not allowing anyone know the court, final stage prison. Case adjourned until March 5th,” he wrote. Hours later, he announced her release: “My T.E.D. Ann is out.”
Ann was reportedly arrested in Lagos on Monday and flown to Abuja via a private jet following the theft allegation, which was filed by Regina Daniels’ estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. The incident occurred approximately two months after Daniels’ alleged separation from the senator amid claims of domestic issues.
