Nigerian singer Teni Apata has shared her dramatic reaction to Nigeria’s elimination from the AFCON tournament after the Super Eagles fell to Morocco in the semi-finals.
In a video posted on Instagram, Teni was seen receiving an IV drip from two attending nurses. While wincing from the injection, she humorously expressed her frustration over the national team’s defeat.
Playfully, Teni blamed Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale and Ghanaians for Nigeria’s loss, joking that Ghana had betrayed the country and deserved consequences. She also addressed President Bola Tinubu, requesting a fighter jet to “avenge” the Super Eagles’ defeat.
Fans responded with laughter, some joking that the nurses should “inject her mouth” to calm her down, while others sympathized with singer Davido, who reportedly lost millions of naira betting on the match outcome.
Teni’s playful dramatics quickly went viral, with fans sharing memes and comments highlighting her humorous approach to the national team’s defeat.
