Dangote Group Unveils Ambitious Vision 2030 to Build $100 Billion Enterprise

Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, has unveiled Vision 2030, an ambitious roadmap aimed at transforming the conglomerate into a $100 billion enterprise by 2030. The plan focuses on industrial expansion, consolidation, and cross-border investments across Africa.

The vision includes:

  • Increasing cement production to 90 million tonnes per year by 2030.
  • Expanding the Dangote Refinery to 1.4 million barrels per day.
  • Scaling up fertiliser production to 12 million metric tonnes annually.

Dangote revealed these plans at the 2025 Distributors Awards and Partners’ Night held at Eko Hotels, Lagos, an event celebrating the company’s distributors and strategic partners. He emphasized that the initiative goes beyond industrial growth:

“Our ambition goes beyond building factories. It is about building Africa’s capacity to feed itself, power its economy and drive sustainable industrialisation.”

The Group also announced major investments in fertiliser complexes, tank farms, pipelines, sugar backward integration projects, and energy infrastructure across Africa. These projects aim to strengthen the continent’s self-sufficiency in critical sectors.

Aliko Dangote highlighted the group’s social investments, including a multi-billion-dollar education fund to support vulnerable students nationwide. He described distributors as the “heartbeat” of the organisation, acknowledging their role in translating the Group’s vision into tangible results.

Emmanuel Ikazoboh, Chairman of Dangote Cement Plc, underscored the importance of partnerships for sustaining industrial growth in Nigeria and across Africa. He commended distributors and partners for connecting production facilities to end-users and emphasized the company’s continued commitment to product innovation and environmental sustainability.

Key initiatives by Dangote Cement include:

  • Launching new cement products: 52.5 Blockmaster, 42.5R, 42.5N, and Falcon cement.
  • Investing in compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and cut emissions.
  • Transitioning to green cement production and alternative energy sources, including solar power and CNG, aiming to have all trucks powered by CNG by 2027.

The 2025 awards ceremony, themed “Partner for Growth”, also signaled the start of the Group’s growth journey for 2026, reinforcing its commitment to shared prosperity and sustainable industrial development.
