Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to a public request from a 12-year-old girl, Mitchelle Anuoluwapo, who asked for a DNA test to confirm whether he is her father.

Anuoluwapo shared an emotional Instagram post detailing the psychological toll of her unresolved paternity claim, explaining that she had endured bullying since age six from classmates who mocked her claims. She also revealed that she sought professional help to cope with the stress.

“As I grow older, I want to establish my identity. This DNA test is between my dad and I. It is something I want. It is something that’s the right thing to do,” she wrote, appealing directly to the singer.

Davido, however, denied being her father, saying he had already undergone five separate DNA tests, all confirming he is not related to the girl. He further claimed he has never had a relationship with her mother.

“After 5 DNA tests … she dey crase … her and her mom better leave me the f#ck alone and go find her papa,” Davido posted on X (formerly Twitter), adding that the girl’s mother should face legal consequences for misconduct.

The singer reiterated that the DNA tests were conducted at multiple medical facilities, and all results were negative. He described the continued claims as “nonsense” and expressed frustration at being repeatedly dragged into the matter.
