Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has triggered widespread concern after posting a series of emotional messages online in which she revealed that she is battling severe personal and emotional distress.
In a video shared on social media, the actress appeared visibly shaken as she broke down in tears, saying she was “not okay” and recounting a number of traumatic experiences that she said have taken a toll on her mental health.
Ogala spoke about alleged miscarriages, her arrest and detention following public accusations she previously made against popular cleric Chris Okafor, as well as painful experiences in her marriage.
She alleged that at one point she returned home to find her husband’s mistress and child, an experience she described as devastating. According to her, the cumulative effect of these events has been overwhelming.
“This is not okay. None of what I’ve been through is okay,” the actress said in the video, fighting back tears.
Shortly after sharing the video, Ogala made another post that further heightened concern among fans and colleagues.
“I may not be alive for a long time.
Chris Okafor has done so many bad things to me that I may not be able to speak. I am tired of hanging on.
Everything is not okay,” she wrote.
She also publicly appealed to a family member, identified as Emeka, asking him to reach out to her if possible.
The posts have since drawn an outpouring of concern on social media, with many urging the actress to seek professional help and assuring her of their support.
