A Nigerian prophet, Abiri Elijah, has stirred a storm on social media following Nigeria’s defeat to Morocco in the AFCON 2025 semi-finals.

Prophet Elijah, who had predicted Morocco’s victory, took to his social media to share his reflections on the game after the result. He claimed that while he foresaw Morocco’s triumph, the outcome could have been altered had Nigerian music superstar Davido placed a call to him, as had allegedly been requested.

Elijah congratulated Morocco for advancing to the final and also praised Nigeria for reaching the semi-finals. He went on to assert that he had accurately predicted the 4-2 penalty shootout result. However, he attributed Nigeria’s loss to Davido’s failure to reach out for the prayers he had allegedly offered as a solution.

The Prophet’s Statement:

In a post that caught significant attention, Prophet Elijah wrote:
“EXACTLY WHAT PROPHET ELIJAH ABIRI SAID. Congratulations to Morocco for their victory to the final of #AFCON2025. Congratulations to the Super Eagles of Nigeria for reaching the semi-final. #God showed me their defeat against Morocco 🇲🇦 4-2, which I had the grace to change in their favor, through just a call from Davido, who failed to reach out to me for prayers as requested.”

Elijah further emphasized the importance of following prophetic advice, stating that “God reveals to redeem” and encouraged individuals to contact him if they ever received negative prophecies, diagnoses, or outcomes.

His Message Continued:

“Please note that God has given me the grace to change things for our favor, like I did for the match between Cameroon and South Africa, which favored the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon. Let me also use this opportunity to say this to everyone: if anyone, whether a prophet, apostle, doctor, or witch doctor, gives you results you don’t want, please contact me. My God will change it for your favor. Fear not, we serve a very big God, His name is YAHWEH, the LORD God of HOST.”
