Renowned Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Chatta, has claimed that singer Davido is wealthier and more influential than his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke.
Chatta made this assertion while advising young people to respect those in positions of authority and seniority, regardless of age. He emphasized that age is merely a number, citing Alexander the Great as an example of someone who achieved extraordinary feats at a young age—surpassing many older and more experienced leaders.
According to the actor, while Davido may be younger, his accomplishments and fame establish him as an elder in his own right. He defined an elder as someone who has achieved significant success, asserting that despite his father’s billionaire status, Davido holds greater wealth and influence.
“God places certain people in positions, but many focus only on age. It’s not about age—any young person who possesses what belongs to elders is, in fact, an elder,” Chatta explained.
He further compared Davido’s prominence to his father’s, stating: “If Davido’s father walks by, people might not recognize him, but if Davido passes, there could be a stampede. His father is wealthy, but not as much as Davido.”
