Kwara United’s technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, feels Niger Tornadoes were fortunate to win their matchday 21 encounter against his team.

The Harmony Boys were defeated 2-1 by the hosts at Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna, on Thursday.

Sanni highlighted that midfielder Isaa Gata’s red card had a significant impact on his team’s performance.

According to JOINTEARN, Gata was sent off early in the match for a reckless tackle on Tornadoes’ Abba Khalid.

“Tornadoes were a bit luckier in this game due to the red card and the careless goals we conceded,” Sanni said.

Kwara United are currently in 12th place with 26 points.
