ABUJA – The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the shortlist of candidates for its recent recruitment exercise into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
In a statement issued Wednesday night, Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), announced that applicants can begin checking their status on the official portal https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng starting Thursday, October 30, 2025.
The portal will also provide details of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for each shortlisted candidate, including the date, time, and venue of the examination.
Maj. Gen. Jibril urged all candidates to adhere strictly to information on the official portal and disregard messages from unofficial sources or third-party platforms claiming to represent the Board. He warned against falling prey to fraudsters promising preferential treatment, emphasizing that the recruitment process is transparent and merit-based.
The ongoing recruitment exercise covers positions across the four key paramilitary agencies under CDCFIB’s supervision, aimed at strengthening national security and public safety.
