The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has dismissed threats and baseless allegations directed at its Registrar General, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, warning that attempts to intimidate him will not succeed.
In a statement signed by CAC management, the Commission said the attacks were unfounded and urged disgruntled individuals to direct their complaints to appropriate government agencies instead of resorting to threats.
“Let it be clearly stated that the RG will not succumb to any form of blackmail, distraction, or pressure in the discharge of his lawful responsibilities. If anyone has credible evidence of corruption or wrongdoing against him, they are advised to forward such petitions to the relevant anti-corruption agencies for proper investigation and prosecution, rather than resorting to falsehood and smear campaigns,” the statement read.
CAC emphasized that it remains committed to transparency, reform, and service to Nigerians under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
