“Oh, baby, there’s a mood board. There are hours and hours of fitting and laughing and swearing. It’s just a lot of daydreaming and imagination,” the 47-year-old stylist shared.
Roach described the experience of styling Grande as “just like coming back home, like two good friends reunited, and getting to play in clothes — and a lot of clothes,” hinting at the variety and creativity fans can expect from her Wicked: For Good press tour looks.
Ariana’s Gratitude and Collaboration Shine Through
Roach emphasized Grande’s warmth and gratitude during fittings:
“What people need to know about her is her gratitude and appreciation — for playing this role, but also for the designers who are making these gowns and dresses for her,” he said.

“No pressure at all. Because Ari and I worked together for years before she became an actress. Well, she was an actress first, then a pop star, then an actress again. So we worked together.”
