Heidi Klum Channels Medusa for 2025 Halloween Bash with Husband Tom Kaulitz

Heidi Klum, 52, has once again cemented her status as the Queen of Halloween, debuting an unrecognizable and intricately detailed costume at her annual star-studded Halloween party in New York City. This year, Klum transformed into the mythological Medusa, complete with a long tail and serpentine hair that moved as she posed on the red carpet.

Her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, played a Greek soldier turned to stone—staying true to the Medusa legend, where anyone who meets her gaze is petrified. Despite his “frozen” appearance, Kaulitz called his wife’s costume “sexy,” with Klum agreeing, “I think he looks super hot.”

“HAPPY HEIDIWEEN 🐍 Don’t stare too long or you’ll turn to stone,” Klum captioned an Instagram reel showcasing her Medusa transformation.

25 Years of Halloween Extravaganza

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Klum’s legendary Halloween parties, which she first hosted in 2000. Although she skipped celebrations in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Klum has consistently pushed the boundaries with extreme, transformative costumes that require hours in the makeup chair and months of preparation.

For this year’s look, Klum credited makeup designer Mike Marino, a three-time Oscar nominee and Emmy winner, known for his work on The Batman, Coming 2 America, A Different Man, and transforming Colin Farrell into The Penguin.

Social Media Teases and Throwbacks

Leading up to the party, Klum teased her Medusa costume on Instagram. On October 24, she shared a black-and-white photo of a mannequin’s bare bodice with the hashtag #HeidiHalloween, hinting at a bold and dramatic look.

She also posted throwbacks of previous iconic costumes, including Betty Boop (2002), Fiona from Shrek (2018), and Jessica Rabbit (2015). Unlike last year’s “cute” E.T.-inspired ensemble with Kaulitz, Klum told PEOPLE she intended to go “ugly” for 2025.

Klum’s Halloween Legacy

From her over-the-top designs to immersive makeup and props, Heidi Klum has made her annual Halloween bash a cultural event and a must-watch spectacle for fans and celebrities alike. Her 2025 Medusa costume proves once again why she remains the undisputed queen of Halloween.
